Subject to the following Terms and Conditions, GrowPlugins, LLC (2501 Chatham Road STE 4039, Springfield, IL 62704) is offering free WordPress website design work to one business or person per sweepstake. Void where prohibited. Your participation in the sweepstake constitutes your agreement to these Terms and Conditions, and to the decision of GrowPlugins, LLC, which is final and binding. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

Explanation of Terms

For the purposes of this sweepstake, the following definitions are used.

  • Content — Content are the things that fill out a space on your website, in many cases conveying an idea. Text, images, menu items, blog posts, links to blog posts, and products are all examples of content.
  • Project — The total of the award being offered from this sweepstake. The project and its scope is defined under Project Offering below.
  • Template — A template controls the look, layout, and feel of a specific type of content on your WordPress website, but has little control over the content. For example, a blog post archive template will control the colors on your blog post archive page and whether blog post authors are listed on the blog post archive page, but it does not control which blog posts are shown there.

Project Offering – Prize

GrowPlugins, LLC is offering one business per sweepstake the following website design Project prize:

  • The Project will include the home page (with content included), the website header and menu, the footer, a search page template, and one (only one) of the following three options:
    1. a blog archive template and a blog post template, or
    2. a popup (with content included), or
    3. a WooCommerce archive template, a WooCommerce product template, a WooCommerce cart page template, a WooCommerce checkout page template, and a WooCommerce My Account page template.

All work done will require Bricks Builder and GutenBricks to be installed. No template work specified above will include adding content to any part of the website. The Project includes up to two revisions of each included template or content work, with a maximum of five revisions total. In addition, the Project is limited to 12 hours of total work time. Any of the above work that you would have otherwise benefited from is forfeited 30 days after the day you win the sweepstake, so please make sure to grant ample access to your website in order to complete the Project within that amount of time.

Entry Period

The sweepstake will run from 9/2/2024 to 9/20/2024. All entries must be entered before 9/21/2024 at 12:00 am CST to be eligible to win. The winner will be chosen and announced on 9/21/2024.

Eligibility

This sweepstake is open to those that sign up at https://growplugins.com/free-wordpress-website-design-sweepstakes and who are at least 18 years old and a legal citizen living in the United States. Further restrictions apply. See Restrictions below.

Winning

Only one business or person may win per sweepstake. The winner will be chosen randomly from the total entries entered according to these rules. The odds of winning is determined by the number of entries that enter according to the rules. The winner will be notified at the end of the sweepstake by the email they used to register for the sweepstake, so please be on the lookout for an email.

Restrictions

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to apply or win.
  • You must live in the United States to apply or win.
  • The website you want to be created or worked on must be business in nature. You must be selling a product or service to qualify.
  • The following websites are excluded from this sweepstake, and will not be worked on:
    • Websites related to drugs, alcohol, tabacco, vaping, firearms, sex, or promiscuity.
    • Websites that promote pyramid schemes or ad sharing.
    • Websites related to any cryptocurrencies.
    • Personal websites, such as wedding websites, personal blogs, or hobby websites.
  • No person or business is eligible to win more than one GrowPlugins, LLC sweepstake within a 12 month period.
  • You may not enter any one sweepstake with multiple email addresses, for example, to increase your chances of winning. Doing so will forfeit your chances to win.
  • The entire project is limited to 30 days from the day the sweepstake is won.
  • This prize has no cash value, and no refunds will be given.
  • GrowPlugins, LLC reserves the right to exclude anyone suspected of fraud.

Ownership

You agree that GrowPlugins, LLC will maintain ownership of the designs created, including, but not limited to, the look and feel, layout, font choices, and color choices, and I may use them in future projects for other clients. You are free to use and rework the designs in your website as you see fit.

All website content, not to include designs, will belong to you.

Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the sweepstake, you agree to release and hold GrowPlugins, LLC harmless, and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the sweepstake, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (together, “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the sweepstake or receipt of the sweepstake winnings, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the sweepstake, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, or wireless service provider; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the sweepstake; (c) mechanical human, printing or typographical errors; or (d) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from your participation in the sweepstake or acceptance, receipt or misuse of any sweepstake winnings you may receive. 

Privacy

Any information you provide to GrowPlugins, LLC may be used to communicate with you about this sweepstake, including information about the winner of this sweepstake. By entering the sweepstake you also agree to receive email newsletters periodically from GrowPlugins, LLC. You can opt-out of receiving these emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. Information submitted in connection with the sweepstake will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy. 

Arbitration

These Rules shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state if Illinois in the United States, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the sweepstake or any winnings awarded will be resolved by binding arbitration, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the giveaway home location. The parties agree to follow the arbitration procedures set forth by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) to resolve the dispute. Arbitration proceedings shall take place in Rockford, IL. Each party is responsible for paying its own filing, administrative and arbitrator fees. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
